Disabled fake engine noise and cleaned steering wheel with Sonax. That shit works - but their application suggestions are trash - instead of spraying foam right on the wheel - spray a bit on the brush and brush it in - much more consistent even application. Made the red a lot more red / restored it and the black is better as well. Feels a lot better too.

I love alcantara steering wheels but I hate that aspect of it - guess it's just the one drawback to them but having it on the RS3 and this car has won me over. I may get one for the M2 because of the pleasant grippiness while driving.

P.S. Love the car without the engine noise piping in, wasn't that aware how prevalent it was but it sounds much more smooth and no buzzing going on.

Ran some errands. After several days of rain, still pretty wet. But it had been a while so some spirited driving occurred and the car handles like a champ even on wet asphalt. Granted, wheel spin 1-3 lol

Wizard level mod, very nice! Takes balls to take the seats apart and reassemble so well.

When I had my MK7 GTI, I saw one guy take Recaro Sportster CS seats apart and run heating coils through them before installing. The process photos gave me anxiety but, like yours, the result is impressive.

I get email notifications on iPhone 13 Maxi-pad but no lit bell once in forums. If I click bell notifications then it shows unread posts. Signing out or rebooty no fixy, no biggie.
