Today I recited those fictitious Latin words, ‘Rubbus Nomorus’ after some heavyweight trials. The fronts got worn and are ugly close up but GTG on 255/35-19 x 9.5 ET41 TSWs, Eibach Pro springs, rear camber adj to -1.17.

Time to replace some Type R wheel decals.

Got it dyno tuned today! Given the limitations of ambient temps of 102° and oem intercooler, I’m really happy with the results. 330 hp at the wheel with just stage 1 intake, high flow cat, exhaust and wheels.

Bought some Continental ExtremeContact Sports to replace the OEM Contact Sport 6’s. Walmart had a huge discount on them and discount tire beat it for me. Should be here later next week. Probably won’t install for a few months since I still have some life left.

Looks badass man kudos on tackling a 'not thought of' job. Do you think it will stay clean-er now that you did that? Did you coat it with anything to make it easier to clean?
It’s been easy to clean. Every time I wash the car I use a dirty microfiber towel and it cleans right up. No fancy cleaners or coatings.

Soo, BalladeSports just released a Lithium battery for our car weighing in at 13.9lbs. 2x cheaper then the ones i’ve seen on the market this far. Thought i share this as i’m putting in an order soon for this battery.

Very interesting! Keep us posted. I'm running a 5lb Shorai in another car and am happy with it so far. How much does the OE battery weigh?

After 4 years running with Honda Access yellow fog lights, I decided to swap out for Diode Dynamics Elite fog lights that were introduced during SEMA 2021. These maintain the OEM look compared to the SS3 line, which I run on my Pilot. I knew the SS3 fog lights were too bright to run on the CTR, which is the reason I didn't go for it.

I love that these fog lights are made in the USA, and come with an 8 year warranty. The Elite series come with the built in backlight that can be wired to the DRL. I chose not to wire it because it would require me to pull off the bumper in order to run the harness to the DRL plug at the bottom of the headlights.

To run these fog lights, you will need to notch one of the bottom holes for the cross peg on the bumper. You will also need the conversion harness, either the Honda Access (p/n 08V38-T6G-B00) or go aftermarket with this harness.

Notched mounting hole. One on each fog light, alternate sides.

Diode Dynamics cutoff appears more crisp. DD on the right, HA on the left.
