Has anyone ever plasti-dipped that awkward skinny piece of painted metal above the grille (but in front of the hood) as well as the grille? Wonder how that would look. Mostly because I think that piece is going to be very susceptible to stone chips (so more for protection than aesthetics)

Been stalking the forum for a while now but this is my first post. I tried to replace my trunk bulb with the iJDM LED light strip from Amazon that sells for $10. I know others here have said they really love it, but for me... it's just not such a big improvement. I'm not giving up on getting better light in my trunk though. I think I'm going to try to get one of those LED light strips that come in the big roll, grab some 3M adhesive promoter and line the entire "roof" of the trunk with those danged things.
