Wait....let me see if I understand this....you can't wash your car at your own home, but car wash places are still open? Or did I misunderstand?
Yes, they are, but I think they've dialed down the water output.

A lot of car washes recycle their water--at least the newer ones do, because it's required by law. This, along with many other reasons is why I'll never take Desiree (my car) to a car wash. Heck, I didn't even let the dealership wash my car when I picked her up, and she was filthy! Haha.

You don't have water restrictions?

Looks like you're washing your car in the garage. Am I wrong? And my, what green lawns you all have! I can't hand wash my car at home due to water restriction. I face the risk of getting fined if caught or a neighbor calling the city on me. Only taken the Civic to a touchless car wash since I picked her up.
Yes it's wayyyy too hot, even in the mornings to be washing outside so I had the bright idea of just clearing out my garage and washing it in there. Worked well! No water spots, even had time to clean the engine bay before the rest of the car dried. As for the lawns, we just had some heavy rain a couple weeks ago but mine is already starting to brown out.

We do in my area. I have a system where I will give my car a legitimate wash two times a year. I use the rinseless method once a week, which only takes 0.75 gallons of water. On top of that, I'll wax her every 3 months and clay and seal every 6 months (right after the legitimate washes).

Received and installed my new custom waterproof floor mats today. Much more coverage and fully molded compared to my Husky mats or Weathertech. All for $99 shipped.

Got th from ebay. I always was intrigued by these type mats. The husky mats are great too. I actually like the Maxpider mats as well. These and the maxpider mats actually have padding that feels better and supposed to help with some noise reduction. Not really sure about that. These have much more coverage specially the very high walls. They go up about 6 inches on the front and under the seats on the back.
