thank you. Just ordered them. I hope they won't require any crazy install since i leased my hatch.

they just attach with 4 setscrews, you can see it from my picture below. however since youre leased you might want to use tape instead because those setscrews leave a little indent on your paddle shifters

That's the same cover I'm thinking of getting! Has your cover stayed on well since you've installed it? How long did it take to install? Did you install this on top of a leather or non-leather wheel? I actually already have a leather wheel but am looking to get this to make the wheel slightly thicker.
Yeah, it still feels like new! and it does make it feel a little thicker.

Not today, but got backed into yesterday in a slow-speed parking lot incident. My driver's door lost the battle when it was attacked by a Mercedes GL SUV. I initially thought that maybe a new skin would fix it, but the top of the frame isn't meeting the roof line correctly. I've contacted my agent and given them the other person's information. They took responsibility, but the police wouldn't file a report with fault because it was in a private parking lot.

First new car in years. Sucks that it got hit on day 33. It just reinforces my opinion that I shouldn't buy myself anything new/nice.

Today I installed the Gutter guard mod to protect my intercooler better. It's already has a lot of dings after just 52 days and 3800 miles. Man, I LOVE this car, gotta make it last.

I got it at Home Depot, it's called a Gutter Guard. It cost something like $2.38 I think. I had to trim it to fit.

How is it held together? Zip ties? Are there gaps on the top and bottom for the gutter guard to slide in? Thanks in advance for any info you can provide.

There's nothing holding it in place for the moment. There's a notch above and below, behind the cross bars of the bumper. There are small gaps on the outside edges. I removed the 5 push clips behind this piece of the bumper to pull down and forward to create the gap to fit this piece in. I have to buy some zip ties to hold it in place, mainly to prevent any rattling. Probably will redo the whole process if I pull the bumper off for better fit, I am thinking of doing some Halo fogs.

@Fanoflive That's really good. Did it come in black already? I would use black zip ties here, just under the black plastic crossbar so it's hidden.

Yes it is already coated black. Yes that's the plan for the Zip ties.
