I've added a front and rear-facing dash camera to my Civic this morning. I highly recommend adding one to your car. At the least it will add piece of mind if someone hits your car. Time for a nice car wash.

See I have tried that but all of the 3 separate dash cams I purchased I ended up returning due to poor quality or some other reason. I got the GoPro (the cheap $129 one before they went away) and a suction cup and a power inverter. It is a little much but does the trick for now.

What dash cam do you use and are you pleased with the quality?

I use the Rexing V1P (includes front and rear cameras) which costed me $130 on Amazon. The front-facing camera is 1080p which I like the clarity a lot and the rear facing is VGA which I admit is not good but enough to have proof if someone were to hit you. I've actually used this camera for about 1.5 years in my previous car and nighttime driving is not a problem. The camera picks up even in low-light conditions quite well. The camera is also relatively low-profile so others won't notice unless someone is actually trying to see if you have a dash camera.

Hope this helps!!

As title suggests, this thread will be for CivicX owners to post about what they did to their car today. It can be anything, big or small - milestones, car wash, servicing, fixes, modifications, add-ons, etc.

Share and it might inspire some ideas for others to do on their Civics too.

So, what did you do to your 2016+ Civic today?

Nice. Washed mine this morning too. Mine is also WOP, but I have some 17" winters on, which I've had since the day after I picked up the car. Can't wait for winter to go so I can put the 18's back on - they look great!

I knew I forgot one when I made the deal.

Not that I'll store it but for next winter so I don't have to deal with ice or snow.

Installed the Boomba Racing Rear Motor mount and the Progress Rear Sway Bar this morning. Also debadging the Civic logo now.

Car is vibrating a lot right now but should go down pretty soon in a week or less. Feels a lot better under acceleration, lot less drama with that engine mount and way more planted and flat in the corners with the sway bar.

I'd rather have 7. I'll be out of my extended warranty before I know it. A trip to GA and then SC last year along with a long daily commute.
I feel you on the long daily commutes. I drive 80 miles each day just to work and back. not including getting lunch at work and dinner in the afternoon. that can easily turn into 100 miles a day.
