Took my car into the dealership today to check out a faint ticking/rattling engine sound that happens only when engine is warm and I'm accelerating. I guess it's not a big deal yet. Only at 2300 miles at 6 months.

After getting my clear bra applied last friday, and the recommended 72 hours after install had elapsed, i washed, waxed and sealed my car. I used a bunch of different products from chemical guys:
Extreme Depth Liquid Carnauba Creme Wax + X-Seal
Wheel Guard Max Coat Rim & Wheel Sealant
Tire and Trim Gel for Plastic and Rubber

They all worked out very well, would definitely recommend.

I learned a couple things for the next time i wash/wax, first and foremost: i need to use a trash bag or something to lay my microfiber towels and wash pads on. Yesterday i didnt let anything come in contact with the ground by just stacking everything on the lid of my bucket, but it got cumbersome. Also, anything that im done working with can just go straight into the trash bag for rewash later.

Finally, i tested out using a leaf blower to aid in the initial dry-off after wash. Worked amazingly well.

Rolled 10k miles on my way in to work today after 144 days of ownership. Still really enjoying my car and its awesome gas mileage!

I installed my smoked side marker lights today. They are a perfect fit and were easy to install. No pictures due to the fact that my car is too dirty to photograph at the moment. I am planning on giving her a bath tomorrow. I will post pictures then.

Do you have a link for the side markers?
