I finally got the leather door armrests installed on my 2020 si coupe.. the lighting in my garage sucks which makes them look a different color, but they actually match the panel they connect to.. where the window and door lock controls are located.. so much better! Idk why Honda thought that sandpaper cloth they used was a good idea.. now I just need to commit to the Type R center console armrest conversion.. that's pricey though.. fml

Huge shout out to @kimtyson for hooking me up with the part numbers! Thanks Honda bro!

Sedan are a different part number from the coupe. But yes, you can def get them.
This is why I love Honda/Acura.. so many parts have cross compatibility.. ingenious on their part.. but a pain for us to figure out and apply.. luckily we have this forum and other awesome enthusiasts to help each other out..

Went to my dealer and got the first oil change and quick service completed.

Was nice to see that it was a complimentary service for the car purchase, but I'm a bit disappointed that they couldn't locate the rattle that I have in the front drivers side. It didn't help that it's was all of 14 degrees outside and a couple inches of snow, but the dealer informed me that their experienced service techs only work during the week, never the weekends. So if I want them to further investigate the rattle I need to reschedule for a week night appointment.

I started my car today and noticed the car had trouble starting normally with a lot of errors popping on the dash. Opened up my hood today and noticed chewed up wires, droppings and urine. Why did Honda made all the wirings, plastics, insulation tubes soy based? This is like an all you can eat buffet for rodents. This is a design defect that can attract rodents because of the soy vanilla smell. Not covered under warranty and expensive to repair. I am not happy!

weather was nice today (little chilly) and had some time to put new accessories to my 2020 Sedan Sport

1. First was carbon-like shifting knob cover:

I think it looks great! I’m definitely getting more ‘carbon’ parts from this series - material looks really solid and since original interior is pretty standard - it gives a bit of look ??

2. Second modification was adding central console organiser:

Now i can put something else there besides my phone which is great improvement for me because i was missing some more space and i don’t really like to put stuff on that bottom shelf.

3. I put my rubber mats for cup holders, door pockets etc.

My wife’s Altima has it in standard so i had to get these for my Civic - it’s ‘must have’ for someone like me who drinks coffee or tea everyday while driving to work ?

4. I changes dealer plate’s frames for non-chrome ones as part of my ‘chrome’ delete project. I did the same with Lug Nugs - changed original chrome ones for black ones.

5. and at the end I put some red LED for more ‘flashy’ interior at night :p I know not everyone likes it but for me it’s just perfect, not too strong, gives nice look especially now when gets darker quickly

That’s it for today, I also did smoke tint on my taillights but it’s too dark to take a picture right now so i will post it tomorrow ??
I’m still waiting for plasti dip to black out trunk emblems and for pre-cut vinyl to cover chrome around windows.
Also I have my front splitter at home but due to not having garage at this moment, I will have to postpone it.

Question specifically for us CVTs ?
This thought just came to me today, does anyone know if the shift boot on the ILX can be used on ours?

And question 2, hatch strut, is it covered under warranty? I was at a dealer the other day, checking out their display FK7, man that hatch definitely feel easier to open compare to mine, and I remember mine was just like that when brand new...

Over the long weekend I did just a couple things.. Car is Platinum White and I am going with all black/white theme. I changed out headlight bulbs for NAPA brilliant white halogen, changed out fog light bulbs for yellow LED I got off Amazon (for about $20), mounted the new license plate with black frame, added pull strap to trunk lid (found a white key lanyard with black Honda characters) and installed my custom modified shift knob. Im sure you’ve all seen the license plate frames, trunk lid pull straps and lights, but here is my shift knob. I’m an old muscle car and street rod guy, so I was looking for the white knob with black inlay but couldn’t find one. I went for Sickspeed white with orange and removed the orange to inlay my own black. I’m very proud of how it turned out and it feels great in my hand!

It’s been a long time since I posted on this thread and I’ve done quite a few mods so here they are...

- lowered on D2racing springs
-installed my own sun strip and my group banner
Honda Civic 10th gen What did you do to your Civic today? (II) E7E7CD89-B285-49C0-9BEF-2640CD1D6BFB

didn’t matter though because 2 days latermy windshield cracked and I had to get a replacement for the 2nd time in one year

- I also did a muffler/resonator delete and replaced the resonator with a vibrant super quiet. All done by myself welding with my chin:doh: (only welders will understand
Honda Civic 10th gen What did you do to your Civic today? (II) 8CE64C17-A03C-41B8-AB33-91B352F3062E

I’m catless so yes it’s raspy in some rpms but it’s really not that loud compared to other straight pipe setups. It does drone at any speed above 60-65 and screams at 4500+rpm
I plan on creating a bolt-able axle-back muffler for commutes

also just FYI to all the sport sedan owners that want to do a muffler delete;
The muffler IS your passenger side hanger so once cut off you’ll need to re locate/or make new hangers for the axle-back section

- I installed some 25mm (or 1”) wheel spacers

IMO this was the best thing I’ve done since lowering the car.
Looks stupid clean and it was exactly how I wanted it to look.
I was afraid of rubbing but I still have tons of clearance up front, even over speed bumps with the wheel turned
(Was running stupid tests on the way home lmao)

- I also tuned it finally with Ktuner, made a pop/bang tune (hate all you want, I literally only flash to this tune for car meets)

and did some other small things like install louvers, and decals

Oh and I was rear-ended twice in the same month.... :banghead:

But I was PO’ed
