I would advise against using blue loctite. It’s a Phillips head screw and that alone is enough to make it easy to strip out the head. And by its nature, you have to apply force towards the screw to engage and loosen it, kinda tough to apply force when the screw threads into the flexible plastic undertray.

I use permatex silver anti-seize. It has a bit of a sticky nature that won’t allow the screw to vibrate loose, but also won’t lock up if you happen to overtighten that screw.
Blue Locktite is not a permanent seal, thats the Red Locktite

Today I fitted my custom flocked glove box. The flock colour is Anthracite and was professionaly applied (not by me) using an electrostatic machine. I am working on supplying these ready trimmed in both Anthracite for Sport models and Red for CTR's. Both left hand drive and RHD versions will be available.....

Also had confirmation that my retrimmed Type R steering wheel has come back from the trimmers. Will see it in the flesh tomorrow when I visit Phil at Dream Automotive....

I installed a leather steering wheel cover. It’s a custom fit cover that requires sewing and lots of patience. But it came out nice. Here is some pics of the install. The first picture is the before picture

Finally got around to removing the wheels and cleaning them inside/out and through some fusso wax on them. Amazing wax btw if you’ve never used it, highly recommend. Water still sheets off car like I just put it on yesterday, and I did it 4 months ago. See if holds up at all. But I also popped in my red center caps. Love the way it ties into the emblems, lip and mirror striping.

What are the differences of the type R shifter to the regular civic shifter?

Sure does look cleaner. Sadly, in Maryland we can't do that. At least not legally.

Shorter throw and to me the sportier shift feel that the Si should have had from factory. The TYPE R shifter is the way to go.
