Got my eBay “carbon” dash trim kit. Gotta say, it’s not 100% on fitment but it’s damn close! For $25 it’s well worth it and looks much better than the vinyl I had. From a couple feet away it looks perfect and fairly authentic.

I did that exact same trim cover set. I love it. So much better than the silver.

Did you use a special paint for the tires! That’s the smallest sickest mod I’ve ever seen.

1. Plasti-dipped the chrome molding black, dipped both the H and the CIVIC emblems red.

2.Sprayed the front calipers red - hedging my bets, gonna do the rears this weekend. Used Rustoleum high heat paint (primer, paint, clear coat) because of the higher temperature rating.

3. Painted the Goodyear tire accents red on all four wheels. Hedging here too, but I'm gonna add another few coats, and paint the EAGLE SPORT logos as well.

I’m pleased with the results. I haven’t noticed anything different driving wise. I’m thinking of lowering it just a little bit but I’m afraid of changing springs as it handles so well stock.

Are Eibach Pro springs the least amount of drop? Will they be the closest to the factory handling?

Have put the Mugen window visors and scuff plates on, the visors are easier than I expected, and again, the quality is very good

The other day I added these led door sills

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07CQF8NBK

I am thrilled with them, good quality, all 4 sills light up, install was simple, plugs into factory plug so no splicing

Thanks, dude. Yeah, it was a paint pen I bought on Amazon for around $20 a pair. This was before I learned that you can go to any Hobby Lobby, Michaels, Staples, or Office Depot and get Sharpie brand ones for much cheaper. Any oil based marker should do, but here's an example:

https://www.officedepot.com/a/products/262846/Sharpie-Oil-based-Paint-Markers-Fine/

Some Top Gear top tips:

-Depending on the size of your text, you may want to opt for a bigger point, there are at least 3 different options available. The text on the Goodyears is pretty small, so I went with the fine point.

-It's easier to paint the tire while it's off the car and lying on the ground because the paint is liquid and will drip and stain if you're not careful. When the sidewall is facing up you're not fighting gravity as much.

-The way the Goodyear tires are made, the text on the sidewall has its own raised boundaries, so you basically just fill the letters in with the liquid, wipe off any excess, and then let it dry while you move onto the next wheel. Two or three coats per tire recommended.

-It's about one pen per word per tire set. I did 3 words (Goodyear + Eagle Sport) and 2 pens was barely enough.

Now.... all that said, I would discourage you from doing it this way for two main reasons:

1) It's super time consuming: takes more time than you'd think, it's messy, need to take the tires off to do it properly, needed 2 markers for all 4 wheels, still felt like it could have used more

2) Looks cool af for a few days but it doesn't last. Starts to rub and chip off within about a month, becomes too much of a time commitment to do it on the reggie for anything but a shoot or show

After my experience, I'm considering just getting the stickers instead. I've seen those fall of too, though, so if anyone has any other ideas I'm all ears.

Thanks, I'm gonna have to check those out. Any chance you recall the specific brand/product name?

Plastidip the first time. Think I went too overboard with protection but more time setup less time clean up I guess lol. Came out great. Added some pinstripes to the emblem too.
