What did you do to your Civic today? (II)

Tint looks good, like 99% of cars should have tint. So many benefits/pros just doesnt make sense not to have.

On another note, those Rally flaps really make it hard to choose between the OEM and those. Look great.

Finally got my paint protection film and tint installed. Went with 35% for the tint on all windows and the full coverage PPF. Waiting for the film to finish curing so that I can install my bumper plugs. Also installed my smoked side markers a little while ago.

It sounds very good. Its quieter than a Cobra but still has a good induction and blow off valve like noise.

So this is what I'm thinking of doing next, how do you make sure the pinstripe is straight??

I was able to get it fairly straight by pulling it on each end and then applying one end and then pull the other end to where i want it to end and then just firmly seal everything. Honestly, i really just eyeballed it but i guess its pretty straight! Its 1/4 inch vinyl, cut by my vinyl cutter.

Only the Si currently, I am unsure of their plans for other trim levels. They are very good at responding though, just ask them in their sponsor forum.

is it me or they improved their wing? Looks a lot more like the real thing

Here’s what I and a few others have done. Get a 1” dia or so neoprene washer, same size stainless washer, and a speed clip. Shoot the screw through the fender liner (I drilled the liner first) and then on the backside add the neoprene washer, stainless washer and then into the speed clip. No cutting and it’s still sturdy,

That looks sweet! Did you get it from eBay? I saw one recommended by FK7 Civic (YouTube channel) not sure how good it really is... Does your assembled like the real Type R ones? Like constructed by 5 main pieces?

That sounds pretty straightforward, I am just a bit concern about the side skirts if it'll be too long lol
And how long of the vinyl did you consume? Maybe I didn't consider the wheels part, but seems to me a roll will be right at the edge, either enough or not.

I used roughly 150 inches, 6 strips, 24 inches long. I overlapped them to create a seamless look.
