I meant to add this here the other day when I finally had the UR subframe brace and tire/wheel package installed. Big improvement in looks, stability, handling and braking. Better late than never. ;)

Eh, maybe if something else happens. In the meantime, I took my car back to the dealer today. There's a local mobile paint guy that comes in on Fridays. He said he can fix the torn bumper like new for $200! That's a bargain. I've used hime before and he's really good.
The guy is a magician... $200 before and after...

Car is back to 100%

Had to replace my unity performance side markers after one broke sadly, this set came from amazon and was on sale for $38. They have a white LED that matches the headlights with the option to set up sequential turn signals. For now I opted out of doing that as I don't want to splice into any headlight wiring just yet, but may revisit that sometime down the road. Fitment is pretty good!

RECORDED ANNOYING BUZZING NOISE

I recorded that annoying buzzing noise in the center of my dash near the windshield. Still occurring after five repair attempts by Honda.

There’s several threads on this and putting it here in hopes you can assist. Seems many have had this similar issue. I’ll start a new thread

That’s what I did to my Honda today.

Oh forgot, dealer reset my Trip B that had ~27k. Overall mpg was 37 mpg.

Haven’t really done much with the car lately. Barely even driving it… but did get a car wash and finally install my UR upper trunk brace.

After watching a video on YouTube of a guy absolutely butchering his carpet, I used a hole saw bit on mine to make perfect circular cut outs and, if I do say so myself, the install came out extremely clean.

I will note though, when you pop off the plastic trim around the seat belt area, which you have to for this install, you are not getting them back perfect, no matter how long you fiddle. Its like the trunk trim… you want to change your tail lights, you better be ok with that stuff not being 100% when you snap it all back together.

At this point I don’t expect the car to feel any different, I have so much bracing that this was really just cause it looks cool and I already have the lower bar.

My FK7 got rear ended a few days ago sadly. Today was a good day though. Got this mounted. Will finish the installation after the car is fully repaired.

The enclosure box I got from a 2017 Type R owner as well as the liner which is all OEM for them (i believe these parts may be the same as the FK7 Touring trim). The Sub is aftermarket which I got separately somewhere else which is a Rocksford Fosgate (way better than the Type R/FK7 Touring OEM stock sub). After mounting this stuff in, I had to trim the cargo tray in order to fit it in. The guy who sold me the enclosure forgot to give me the screws to mount it so I bought the correct size bolts and washers from a hardware store.

I would love to do this!

Looks good! I wish there was something similar for the sedan, but sadly I have not found one yet.

Same definitely a future project i like the oem look of this sub and how its keeps alot of the cargo space still. I have also looked into the stealth box that is made for that same exact area but that seems to stick out farther and take up more space.

I have the box from mine if you want it. I'll give you the full complement of 'premium' speakers too, including the non-powered sub. They're just sitting around in my garage. Can't help with the side panel though. It's covering my amp.

Nice of you but I already upgraded all the speakers.. I feel like the side panel is what I need
