Type R wheel obtained!
Honda Civic 10th gen What did you do to your Civic today? (II) 20220526_175003

Thanks to @Ericks_fk8. Great seller, too!

Now for part two: having it wrapped by Sweidit.

While I'm at it, I need to replace the lower garnish on the steering wheel. I hoped to use the matte ones from the Si or Type R, but I came up with two different part numbers
78540-TBD-A10ZD
78540-TBA-A10ZB

I've looked around, but can't seem to find the answer. Which one is correct?

EDIT: I failed to add, what torque wrench should be used to tighten the airbag? I know I have to buy new tools again.
I think the torque setting is 6.9 ft.lb, and 36 ft lb for the wheel itself.

So i got these type r bumper fk8 style front vent fog light jawns. Wrapped in blue vinyl tint and secured with black electrical tape, like i did with my fog lights. I was able to wire it up but this type of lights there is an option to have the light blue instead of white (which i want) but it did not change to blue. So i an waiting on a reply on wiring diagram to figure out how to make the light blue instead of white then i will wire a pigtail to the turn signal so i can unclip it whenever i need to properly remove the bumper. Got a couple more things to do to the front end after fixing this wiring.

Aright boys, big one today:

Galpin Auto Sports Carbon Fiber Trunk Spoiler on White, thanks to a member here I strung along for months before committing. You're the best Eric!

I also switched my Suma tail lights over to Grey, and retaped the gloss black trunk wing that was previously on White.

Lastly, have a sneak peek at a test fit on the Mugen front lip... crazy good quality, as expected. I'm excited to get this whole kit painted. Should I get the Mugen Roof spoiler too? $$$$

Got my civic some new shoes! The Michelin Pilot Sport 4S UHP Summers installed a few days ago and today just got an alignment done! Also added red valve barrel stem caps to it! Yes... now the wheel gap looks more obvious. I gotta get it lowered soon...

Installed the Viper4Android finally. People have told me in the past that my stereo system is one of the cleanest they've ever heard. They were wrong! The minute annoyances in the 8k range that couldn't be fixed with the head unit 3-band eq are now a thing of the past and my sub has an even bigger sound using the loudness feature. Amazing!

Saturday now -- did you get them bedded in yet? How do they feel?

Keeping my eyes open for better pads once the OEM ones wear out. Suburban speeds are hard on brakes.

They were good. But I lost my brakes after they got hot. I think I had a small air pocket created when the fluid went hot. Never had that before. Scary. At 50% pedal applied I had no braking power. I’ll have to swap my fluid and try the track again in June. I didn’t have much dust tho from the yellows.

Wow! Yeah, it was recommended to me that I do a full flush to race fluid if I ever decide to track.

Not so much what I did, more of where I went..

Acura Honda Classic Meet at Bridgewater Acura in Jersey! I had the only FK7 there, couldn't believe it. It turned into a Type-R meet pretty quick, no less than 25 of them there, including like 3 or 4 limited editions.

another thing that floored me was the amount of Rs with the Mugen kit.. seemed like it was on more of them than it wasn’t!
