Is it worth it with only speakers swapped?
A multi band eq can usually tweak any speakers into being reasonable if you know what you're doing. Better speakers just need less adjustment and can handle all of the power without distorting.

I am using Viper4Android with Honda Hack, factory HU & component speakers (sport hatch) with a 12" sub. The V4A made a huge difference, not only for the factory speakers on the stock amp but especially for the sub. It seems that V4A subverts the factory dulling of the lower frequency from the back speakers (I tapped off the rear speakers for the high to low RCA converter).

Ah okay. Now I'm tempted. Did you notice any lag on your head unit after installing both Honda Hack and V4A? I thought about Honda Hack, but found only two things I like about it (lowering the music volume in reverse and quicker response for the nag screen on startup).

Nope, zero, but I intentionally avoided installing Google play services. I've heard that lags the HU.

I use android auto almost exclusively, at first wired but now using the AAWireless dongle.

Decided to wash, clay bar, and paste wax the Civic today, and I am so happy I did. Shines in a way that it doesn't normally after just a wash.

I decided to try my hand in spray painting my Spoon roof spoiler! While there are high spots I want to fix, I am overall happy with how this turned out.

I also rooted my EX radio, installed Honda Hack and Viper4Android software, played around with the EQ settings. No more crappy Honda default EQ! Stock speakers sound slightly better, but they are not good to begin with, so the real test will be when I get my new speakers Wednesday!

So finally I’ve got the center mounted exhaust for the 2017 Civic Hatch EX solved, I bought 2.5in tips and went to a local muffler/exhaust shop and they did a fantastic job now it looks even better than a sport! If anyone in CT wants to do this to their Ex or Lx trims go to New York muffler in Bristol CT

Interesting! I have an EX like you but instead of running around the cage, my shop ran pipe directly under it. Love the looks here

Got all excited that my leather armrests were in after a lengthy (5 week) back-order. Went to install and found that I got the WRONG ones. Apparently I ordered those for the Hatch whereas I should have ordered them for the Insight (??). I scoured the forums before ordering an thought I was CERTAIN I was ordering the right bits, but not so much. At least it's not a total FUBAR as my son has a hatch and I'll just wrap them and now his X-mas shopping is done.

From what I have now found here are the part numbers I should have ordered. Can anyone confirm that these are good to go for my 2018 EX SEDAN?

RIGHT Front Leather Armrest83503-TXM-A51ZA
LEFT Front Leather Armrest83553-TXM-A51ZA
RIGHT Rear Leather Armrest83703-TXM-A51ZA
LEFT Rear Leather Armrest83753-TXM-A51ZA

Here is what I ordered and what they look like side-by-side w/ the ones on the car now:

Did you return these or sell them?

They gave me that option but I opted out of that since I didn’t want it to be scraping or get damaged!

Fair enough. My shop told me as long as I didn't get bigger exhaust piping or absolutely slam the car I'd be fine. So far so good! If I go bigger piping I may ask about doing it the way your shop has.

Gave the hatch a quick spray down at the DIY wash and installed black Gorilla locking lugs all around. I'm liking the change from the factory chrome ones, as well as the added security with all the dreded stories of people having their wheels stolen.

I flashed Phearable 1.5R non-si on to the hatch last week, finally got the Ktuner mounted and wired up permanently. I used some velcro as I have seen people do in other threads and am liking the placement and ability to remove it easily. I moved around the buttons and took out the blank panel so the cable can run into the dash to the OBD port cleanly.

I'm adding 3 gallons of 100 octane to my fills with 91. Kcon is still up a little bit this was after just making a few pulls on the freeways on map 3 and then pulling in to park. Fun day overall.
