I installed sticky icky Fatman tires on my ride. 245/40/18 all round. The grip is nuts compared to stock Contipro contacts. My baby is hooked in the corners!!! The downside is that my rear sway bar preload is now more noticeable. I noticed that the car moves from side to side at high speed on bad roads. Something I can rectify this weekend. Here's hoping my rear end links are not toast

Unfortunately, one of the tires turned out to have some sidewall damage. I made sure I inspected the tires when I got them, so How did I miss such a colossal gash? I'm so mad!!
Anyway, I'm sending the bad one back for another tire.

This one arrived looking so filthy. Needs a wash!

Quick, cheap speaker upgrade (sound Ordnance P-67CB). Still need to install some sound sound deadening though)

I'm really interested in how they sound because I'd like to make an improvement over the factory sound but I don't want to spend too much because 1) My hearing is bad and 2) I don't drive that much

3rd lip, the other two both cracked on the road. Good thing the front lips get cheaper and cheaper. Think I paid $70 for my first one and the last one was maybe $30.

coupe side skirts.

Does dealer searching count? It's about time for my K20C2's first service under my ownership. After a long time growing up with a Ford family, I might have taken them for granted! I though their prices were a bit much, but holy cow, some of the things these Honda dealers want for an oil change and "multi point inspection." Plus, under the tab for maintenance minder "B" said this:

The manual states 0W-20. This could be dated dealer language, but it still irks me nonetheless.
Heck the Ford dealer included tire rotations with the oil change for less that 60 bucks. I may be worrying too much🤷‍♂️.

Feel free to judge, but I do not have the wherewithal to DIY my own oil changes. Plus I bought the car out of state, so the selling dealer is not an option. Though both the cabin and air filters are more than easy enough for anyone to do.

On the plus side, the horn upgrade kit from College Hills Honda arrived. Will be installed with the SS3s.

Improvement in what way?

All I was looking for was a marginal improvement in sound clarity. Which, imo, is what I got. I wasn't expecting a huge improvement for the 100-ish bucks I spent for the door, tweeters, and center speaker.

Improved clarity -- I'm not expecting much from low budget speakers but I can't justify spending several hundred dollars when I'm driving less than 700 miles a month. I'll probably spend a bit more for a set of Hertz component speakers instead of the Sound Ordnance ones though.

Thats wild, they both fit my hatch I ordered them together but they did come in 2s. I noticed after driving a bit that they are lighter than oem rotors forshure. I felt the weight reduction in turns n stuff. Im going to be getting a rear camber kit next as the back inside of the tires wears a lot on my hatch specially the back left inside not sure if anyone else is having inner rear tire wear on their sport hatchback
just that fit your hatch i guess the si has something diffrent about the rear. The rear hub (center hole on rotor) is bigger so it will not go on.

Today was the big day! Got my Seibon TS hood installed after a custom wrap (of my own design) and ceramic coat. So happy with how it came out! I'll need to figure out a better lighting view to highlight where I left the carbon fiber visible around and behind the vents to the rear of the hood.

I'll get better pics and update the showcase after I can wash it in a week.

I’ve got the same hood on the way. I’d struggle pretty hard to cover up the carbon but it does look nice the way you did it
Wrap is all about protection, but I also wanted it to flow with the other gloss black wrapping I've had for a couple of years (roof, spoiler, etc.). Leaving it unwrapped or clear ppf would have been like a sore thumb since nothing else is CF.

I still need to better fit the hood. The hood bolts don't allow much play so there's a pretty good gap on the driver side. I need to mess with the hinges to see if there is enough play in those to balance it out.

Make sure you watch youtube videos on installing the hood. There are a couple of ok vids, but they talk about the window washer tubes and fitment of the nozzles. You'll need to file the openings a little to get them to fit. You may also want to install some heat shield tape on the non-reinforced areas to prevent discoloration of the CF.

I'll also be installing quick latch hood pins in a couple of weeks. I've already got them, but I want the wrap to set properly before I bore holes through it.

I also need to drill holes for the airflow diverter over the air box, but I may nix that and grab a 27won CAI instead. Remember you may need to stray away from a PRL CAI or other short rams that don't have an enclosed box since there is a vent over that area now.
