I (like @jconnway) installed my leather armrests. Very nice!!! Also, over the long weekend I added my smoke side marker lights and removed the Door Edge Film. I have not yet wired up the switchback portion of the side marker lights as I have injured my finger and I didnt want to go poking around with it behind the lights and bleed everywhere. I HATE how difficult it is to get to the turn signal bulbs.

I removed the Door Edge Film because I was seeing water residue BEHIND the film after every wash. I would rather chance it with some door dings vs. rust out the seams on the doors.

Swapped out my cloth center console and $8 arm pad for the insight leather pieces.

Took a while since a rim came damaged, but finally got my wheels from discount tire installed. Hoping the lighter wheels also help reduce transmission wear in addition to the other benefits.

They feel great. Love them so far

You want to hear something crazy? My original plan was to go EX-T. I only went EX-L because Honda used cloth on touch points like the door handles and center console. I didn't need the leather seats. All the cars I owned before with cloth seats had vinyl or pleather in those areas. Not sure what Honda was thinking.

Pretty crazy that the sport (at least my ‘19 sedan that I had) has leather console, and door handles…. Also leather trim on the seats. Was disappointing going to an EX hatch, and Si, and neither have it.

Nice!! And I too have unwired switchback signals, it was just such a pain I left them

Another 7,500 miles, another oil change. And it’s been 30,000 miles since my last trans fluid change so I did that too.

Tuned my car with the classic KTuner/Phearable 1.5 combo. Absolutely loving the tune, and loving the civic even more. Never had a car I could mod like this and it has been a blast. Next on my list is either tint or PRL intake.

I’m just waiting on my lugs to be delivered and then it’s off to the shop to get them installed.
