Installed 27WON RMM (street) the other day. A bit of a pain to do if you don't have a lift. Ramps/jacks don't allow enough clearance to get leverage with a pry-bar to move the engine around for the install. Removal of the OEM mount was fairly painless as it can move around a bit on both ends, but the 27WON mount will not. A fair bit of mallet work was required to get it in place.

As for the ride quality post install (still hasn't fully broken in), engine noise in the cabin is greatly increased. Vibration is noticeably more pronounced, especially at around 1.5k RPM (10ish% throttle) it seems to hit some kind of resonance frequency that is threatening to shake my brain loose. :spaz: At higher RPMs, it is much more bearable, almost pleasant. Keeping it in S mode for now, but if that low RPM shake doesn't lessen to some extent, I might consider having to take it out because that much vibration will end up making me sick. I've noticed a near elimination of what may be referred to as the CVT "rubber band" effect. Seeing as how much motion is in the OEM RMM, that isn't surprising.

I have this same mount. The NVH will calm down a lot in a couple weeks :)

Cheers for the quick reply. This procedure, along with the cometic head gasket, is to prevent the head gasket from leaking?
yeah pretty much. the oem head studs fatigued and let the head lift, blowing the head gasket. i would assume the oem HG isn't the problem, but no real reason not to go with cometic for the HG.
It also seems like ARP now makes a set for the LB15. ARP LB15 studs Correct me if I'm wrong.

P.S. it seems those are for a different flavor of the L15
i honestly didnt even check arp's site, i just went along with bbeem's advice, since what i'm doing now, he has already done with great success.

Decided to make 2 sets of biohex films for the jewels headlights. Now I'm indecisive between the light and dark options.

I could never ? for the longest time I was stuck below 25 just because I only drove short distances rarely on the freeway. I just got it up to 25 after a little road trip.
Previous cars that I owned when I was in NY(Long Island) I couldn’t get past 25 mpg aswell do to a lot of hills traffic I also did short drive when I moved to Florida and bought the civic I got better mileage do to flat roads and highway. My morning commute is over 20 miles also at 3am in the morning that’s why I could get high 40s low 50s
as I posted before it’s a different story on my way home I usually run in the 30s

Got all excited that my leather armrests were in after a lengthy (5 week) back-order. Went to install and found that I got the WRONG ones. Apparently I ordered those for the Hatch whereas I should have ordered them for the Insight (??). I scoured the forums before ordering an thought I was CERTAIN I was ordering the right bits, but not so much. At least it's not a total FUBAR as my son has a hatch and I'll just wrap them and now his X-mas shopping is done.

From what I have now found here are the part numbers I should have ordered. Can anyone confirm that these are good to go for my 2018 EX SEDAN?

RIGHT Front Leather Armrest83503-TXM-A51ZA
LEFT Front Leather Armrest83553-TXM-A51ZA
RIGHT Rear Leather Armrest83703-TXM-A51ZA
LEFT Rear Leather Armrest83753-TXM-A51ZA

Here is what I ordered and what they look like side-by-side w/ the ones on the car now:

Just got this new Type R style front lip test fitted. Fits great! Will get it painted and installed soon. Also installed these side louvers in today.

Where'd you get the louvers and are they for the hatch? Wondering if they could be a better option for me over chrome delete without having to spend a fortune on the sport black moulding kit.

Those types of louvers are all over Amazon for the hatch.

Those should be the correct part numbers. Well, I didn't double check the rears.
