What did you do to your Civic today? (II)

Completed a full leather steering wheel wrap. I wasn't satisfied with the stock leather steering wheel so I sourced a nice perforated leather wrap with red stitching and TDC stripe. The hardest part was tucking the leather edges under all of the plastic panels around the wheel spokes.

4hrs of tedious stitching and finessing, I think it turned out pretty well! I love the sporty look and feel of the leather. This kit came from China; I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the leather (smells so good ?). Included all tools/materials/instructions required. Cost was $80 plus my 4hrs of installation. Not for the faint of heart, but well worth the effort.

Link below if anyone wants to do this mod. The supplier offered to substitute the leather with suede, PU, different thread & leather colours, etc. You can get it made to your desired specs.

Installed these nice bright LEDs tonight. The beginning pictures show the older lights on the left side and the brighter ones on the right. Brake lights and reverse lights are now brighter. Brake lights noticeably brighter but not blinding bright and reverse lights are significantly brighter, almost blinding bright like headlights. Brake lights are the Diode Dynamics HP11 while the Reverse lights are the TypeRLEDs Signature Reverse LED-X.

Ordered my HKS Legamax back at the beginning of January and it just came in Saturday. I went under the car for a few hours and came out with this.

I think it was worth the wait.

Received my BC BR coilovers today!!! Haven't seen them yet because I have to send bigger stuff to my friends house to keep the wife from seeing.

Also received my Whiteline adjustable RSB endinks. I bought and installed the Accord ones when I beefed up the sway bar, but they were really tough to get in, and I feel like I maxed out the bend in the ball socket. These will do nicely!

Installed my first dash cam today. I used a VIOFO A129 Plus front cam only with a hardwiring kit. Hardwired into fuses #1 and #16 so it has a parking mode.

First mod I've ever done on a car that required removing any sort of panel pieces. Overall install was painless, but I found putting the A-pillar piece back in to be a pain.

How was the install for you? Did you run the wiring through the headliner or below the doors?

I decided against doing the rear camera since it seemed to be quite a bit more work to run the wiring from the rear to the front cam.

Washed it, replaced rear reflectors for smoked ones, replaced previous reverse lights LED because wasn’t bright enough and added small decal ‘Civic’ in Japanese
