Close encounter of the worst (scary) kind...

Driving home today, merging onto the highway at 60 MPH, a deer decided to run full blast towards the side of my EX-L. I did everything in my power to avoid it.

As I awaited and cringed expected to hear the sound of crunched sheet metal, I only heard a lighter sounding thump. That was at least a little bit encouraging. Shaken, I drove the seven miles to my house expecting to see some serious damage. Got out of my car and prayed for a miracle. Well, there were no dents at all. Not a scratch on the sheet metal. The deer hit my rear driver's taillight and only caused a very long gouge in the plastic. It could have been much, much worse. The Civic handled very well in a high speed emergency situation.

Dang lol that is intense. I'll take a tail light replacement over body work any day though.

The springs you used are a small drop right? Like the Eibach pro kit. How was your alignment, still stock without camber kit?
H&R is similar to Eibach Sporlines. 1.5 & 1.2 IIRC.

Alignment was off a little but now corrected.

I went for a hike today and took my camera with me. On the way back to the car, I couldn't help but take a few pictures. Believe it or not, the side marker lights are smoked. I did the pinstripe myself and installed the exhaust tips several weeks ago. I have a few interior mods but no pictures.
