i had the same squeak back in the summer, solved by putting an ass load of brake grease on new caliper hardware. it's not the traditional brake squeal that the wear indicators make; it's more like a cleaning a mirror with windex type of squeak.I had a brake squeak on left turns for a day or two until I didn't.
Something something shielding was what I found digging around. It resolved itself before I started fretting too much.
It wasn't as bad as getting a rock jammed in the caliper though. That was an ear bleeding experience
RV6, PRL, MAP, 27WON... All good options. I have PRL v2 dp (soon to be fp too) and now that it's broken in, I don't want an exhaust now unless it's an fk8 retro
super annoying though, makes me feel like i'm driving a shitbox. like when my rear sway bar end link nuts wouldn't torque down. every bump was a nice loud clunk. i stopped going to car meets until i eventually resolved the issue with a 3ft breaker bar.
i'm leaning towards 27won's dp/fp combo. good deal, solid construction. plus 200 cel cat vs 300 on rv6/prl. so if i get the tune w pops it'll be easier to get the free cat delete. that's the closest i'll be able to get to catless unless one pops up on the classifieds here.
