Finally received my Insight Leather trim pieces and put them on, also put Killmat on the inside of all the doors. Love the trim pieces, pretty easy to put them on, and the car is .

quieter (I have a stretch of road to test them on later with a decibel meter phone app). I still have the leather door card wraps to put on, but I'm not feeling as confident about that

What a shitty driving day today.

I had to be at work early this morning and on a pitch black road, I hit the worst pothole ever. I thought for sure I bent a rim. Luckily it looks like the stock wheels held up. I'm glad I decided to wait til Spring to install my aftermarket 18's. They would have been toast.

Then, just now coming home, another messed up situation. We have a big two day snowstorm brewing and I got stuck behind a county snow plow spewing gravel and salt. Even though I stayed way behind the truck, the gravel/salt was pinging off my car. I'm praying there's no paint damage. I can't tell now because my car is covered in salt.

Sucks.

Sucks you have to work on Sunday. We stocked up yesterday, cause it started snowing at 3pm, it's still snowing with about 10 inches already. Staying home today!

Hopefully, it's just the lighting, but what is that dark area in the leather?

I've never posted in this thread before, even though I swapped my headlights for LEDs.
I just swapped my rear turn signals for these, just to get rid of the ugly orange bulb. It has a built in resistor and it has not had hyper-flash in my (brief) testing so far.
Here's how it looks when it's off:

The base of the bulb is yellowish-tan and it shows up in the reflector. I may paint over it later for a cleaner look.
The reverse light is also changed out for this one. It keeps it's chips hidden and also has a clean look.
Here's the whole back end. Right side is before, left is after:

I'm pretty sure the same bulbs are for the front signals
I think the same turn signal bulbs work up front. They are a little longer than the standard bulb, and it looks tighter up there. I probably try that out, though the orange bulbs don't bother me in the front for some reason.

same thing happened to me the other day, it was so bad that I stopped in a driveway and turned around and picked another path.

Do you happen to have a picture of your new wheels? I'd like to see em I love nice wheels ?

Had a fun morning with the crew at Angeles crest and installed my OEM window visors when I got home. Still need to chrome delete around the visors bc I didn’t want the chrome visors.

Also bought my KTuner and am going to flash my tune very soon!

Here's a pic of them just leaning against my stock 17's:

I was on a tight budget. They are Tire Rack house brand P3's in anthracite. Considering the wheels were inexpensive, they have a nice finish and are low pressure cast. Fairly lightweight, too. Matter of fact, along with the Continental DWS06 tires they only weight 42.8 lbs. total which is much lighter than the stock 17's.

Here's another pic edited to remove the stock wheel in the background (so you can better see the new wheel style):

I think that anthracite color is perfect with the Cosmic Blue.
