It’s been a long time since I posted on this thread and I’ve done quite a few mods so here they are...

- lowered on D2racing springs
-installed my own sun strip and my group banner
E7E7CD89-B285-49C0-9BEF-2640CD1D6BFB.jpeg

didn’t matter though because 2 days latermy windshield cracked and I had to get a replacement for the 2nd time in one year

- I also did a muffler/resonator delete and replaced the resonator with a vibrant super quiet. All done by myself welding with my chin:doh: (only welders will understand
8CE64C17-A03C-41B8-AB33-91B352F3062E.jpeg

I’m catless so yes it’s raspy in some rpms but it’s really not that loud compared to other straight pipe setups. It does drone at any speed above 60-65 and screams at 4500+rpm
I plan on creating a bolt-able axle-back muffler for commutes

also just FYI to all the sport sedan owners that want to do a muffler delete;
The muffler IS your passenger side hanger so once cut off you’ll need to re locate/or make new hangers for the axle-back section

- I installed some 25mm (or 1”) wheel spacers

IMO this was the best thing I’ve done since lowering the car.
Looks stupid clean and it was exactly how I wanted it to look.
I was afraid of rubbing but I still have tons of clearance up front, even over speed bumps with the wheel turned
(Was running stupid tests on the way home lmao)

- I also tuned it finally with Ktuner, made a pop/bang tune (hate all you want, I literally only flash to this tune for car meets)

and did some other small things like install louvers, and decals

Oh and I was rear-ended twice in the same month.... :banghead:
nothing crazy, just needed my bumper painted and a new beam
But I was PO’ed
As an owner of Sport Sedan - i love it!
Question - can you give me link for those wheel spacers? After i saw it, i wanna get those for my car :) also OEM bolts and rug nugs will be good for these or i have to replace it?

We've got the range of H&R Spacers (5, 10, 15, 20, 25 mm) that are hub-centric, and all include extended studs. You can use OEM lugs on the OEM wheels, or compatible aftermarket lugs.

20mm Front, and 25mm Rear will be a great flush setup :)

i bought mine on Amazon the brand was “StanceMagic” but apparently they’re now sold out in the 25mm size
There’s a ton on there though and I’m sure the ones at unity performance are good as well.
Just FYI I did 25mm on both front and rear and I think it looks great :headbang:

Got something small and exciting today :yes:Another package from Japan~

1) OEM Radiator cap cover
Ordered from Amayama, but turns out it's the same one used on the ILX ? so it's not like it can't be found in the US.

Official licensed product, and yes, the same size as the Hot wheels, but even more detailed than the Tomica one (FK8), can't say if it's better than the Tomica Limited Vintage Neo (EK9), definitely close though.

Here is a comparison with the 1/43 :D

It started small today, when I dropped wheels off for tires, but ended up a big day for the build with some spontaneous buying. This will finish out the suspension and starts/finish the brakes:

Whiteline springs
Whiteline RMM
OEM Type-R front sub-brace
R1 Concepts eLine slotted rotors
Hawk HPS 5.0 pads
Goodridge SS lines

I was hoping to have the wheels back today but they were slammed... what's 1 more day when they were special ordered in July ??

Waterless washed the car, added air to tires, fixed a paint chip and replaced the Salusy exhaust tips with the (pricey) Thailand OEM tips.

A couple reasons I switched tips. For one, the finish on the Salusy ones didn't hold up well. And two, I like the fact the OEM tips actually have the exhaust coming out the back of the tips. With Salusy, it was routed to a big hole in the bottom and looked silly on a cool morning.

These still look just as floaty, but at least look better than the hidden tip look.

I'm surprised you haven't went the diffuser route yet

Don't have the skills to install it and probably would screw something up. Plus, even installing these tips my knees and back were killing me. I'm old and my sports career has my back and right knee pretty much shot.

The setup on your car looks great.

Whelp

My luck has run out. The torque from adding the 27won TIP and race MAF has finally got the clutch to slip while doing WOT data logging.
