I painted the ugly looking Coolant Reservoir. I was originally looking to replace it but couldn’t find one for FK7. I’m glad I didn’t bc this mod only cost $8 :D

Received some more AliExpress plastic stuff...i think it looks great i received the carbon fiber style trim that goes over the gauges and the red trim for the wheel...both fit well, as usual air dryer required to heat the 3M tape glue...once that done, solid bond:

Thanks. It was really simple actually and no mess. It’s held on by 2 easily accessible bolts. Before I unplugged the 2 main hoses, I emptied out as much as I could with a large plastic syringe and put it in plastic water bottles. Once I could not get anymore coolant from the top, I took off the top hoses and then carefully took off the large bottom hose. I had a rag on the hose just in case for anything left over but nothing spilled.

Thanks mate sounds like a plan I'll defenetly get to it later that thing is indeed hideous. Especially that I have some engine dress up pieces coming in like the plastic covers for the sides of the engine bay and including the aluminum cap for the coolant reservoir..

I put some insulation on the roof, I needed a whole day to do it and its only half of the roof (bc of the sunroof) 😅
Not sure if I should leave a gap of air in between or add more insulation, what do you think guys?
