My biggest complaint is that the R is too fast to have fun with on normal roads (at least here in Washington state).
Where in washington do you live? Theres a lot of places to stretch the cars legs between yakima and the tri cities. I go 100 daily on the on ramp and when i feel like going for a drive, 150 is pretty easy to hit (and sustain)

Better hope the police aren't lurking at those speeds... 100% not worth it to do those speeds on public roads.

Anybody who drives reckless within visible sight of another car should be strung up.

Police have nothing to do with it, and fear of them is the worst reason ever to justify actions.

12.9* Still annoying as hell. I think the longest I've gone between fill ups was like 280-ish miles.
I got 270 miles this week by running it down to like 14 miles of range left :nixon:

Oh wow, I think I still had like 60 miles of range left on it, that tank hit like 28.85 MPG according to my calculations so not too shabby :p

Exhaust sound is disappointing.
Not a fan of the red stripe on the wheels nor along the bottom of the car (removed shortly after purchase).

-Definitely the gas tank size
-1st to 2nd gear grind is really annoying
-Poor acceleration from a stand still
-I find it difficult to get in 6th gear at high rpms could just be me as this is my 1st 6spd manual
-Driving it in snow sucks

- overheating on track (this is a track ready car, come on)
- ridiculous 20" wheels/30 series tires
- climate control through the infotainment is shite
- no volume knob (I have a 17)
- small tank + fuel starve issues on track
- way too much red in the interior
- exhaust too quiet for this type of vehicle

Those being said, I love the car, truly a blast to drive, and super livable as a DD.

Laggy infotainment.
You can’t have comfort ride and sport throttle response and steering at the same time.
Wheelspin in first and second gears.
Chippy paint.
The side skirts get all kinds of dirty.
Smallish gas tank.

Still an amazing car I’m lucky to own.

I love this car so much. after 22k miles, there isn't any other car I would want.

My (very minor) complaints:

-Weak stereo
-lack of proper gauges for track days
-Exhaust sound* (this one is tricky for me. I DD it and would not enjoy a loud droning exhaust, but maybe it could be louder in R+ mode? but I'm also not a fan of exhaust sound piped in through speakers. Ultimately I'm fine with it the way it is)

@Draider87 keep in mind the feedback in this thread is highly subjective based on each person's preference. Many of these "complaints" are things that I actually would point out to compliment (i.e. fuel tank is perfect size for me, I love the OE rims and OE exhaust, etc.).

If you are looking to get into the CTR, you may find that what others complain about is something you would actually appreciate

My only complaints so far are the large+heavy wheels and quick-wearing tires (though they do make for a great feel). I personally love the factory shifter and exhaust.

Pain(t), OMG the paint. If you just look at it wrong it chips :p
Ok how do you address cheap paint?
That's exactly why I did a PPF and Ceramic Coat first. Quite painful on the wallet and I'm still recovering, however, it's worth it! I only did the PPF on the front end. My detailer highly recommended that I do a PPF on the wing, however, I can't do it atm.

Good ole Honda.. and their bleh paint! :p
