I went to go check out the civicx again today and noticed these things on the bumper. It bothered me that they were not symmetrical in looks. On one side it looked like a lens and the other side was a grill. Perhaps the lens is like the front sensor?

Any idea what this is and can we even this out? Even the sales guy was surprised when I pointed it out.

I think on the driver's side I believe it's the sensor for Honda Sensing. Basically a radar. Donno about about the pass side though.

The flat portion on the driver side is the radar for the adaptive cruise control. The other side is just honeycomb plastic trim. It will be symmetrical if you order a vehicle without Honda Sensing.

I'm totally a symmetry guy... Normally stuff like this drives me crazy. Fortunately it's down low and not in my normal line of sight.

The round fog light itself feels somewhat out of place from a design perspective. A rectangular one like on the Accord would look really cool with the matching shape of the LED headlamps in the Civic Touring.
