Went from Aegean blue to Sonic Grey Pearl.

My Si got the wrath of hurricane Isaias on 8/4 and I've been dealing with insurance and the dealership for 2 months (still not completely done either) but I got a good deal on this CRV EX-L hybrid yesterday. Felt like it was time for something bigger and more comfortable. I'll miss my Si but it's time for me to move on. I'll probably stick around here for a while...

Attached a photo of the new ride and 2 of my favorites of the deceased. RIP lol

Oh NO - the coupe in Agean Blue was my favorite color. Although the white finally grew on me since i have it.

Yup, flash flooding got me. This area was hit pretty badly.

My wife and I have the a Honda CRV and my Si coupe. Lately with covid taking some of the excitement out of our daily lives. My 70 year old wife has taken to driving the Si for all her errands. She says during these times just driving it brightens her outlook of things.

As someone who also went from a [very] sporty car to a more comfortable and easy going car, I don't regret it one bit. Drives are far less stressful now, I'm more comfortable, and at least in my case, I still have enough sport to tickle the itch when I want to have more fun driving.

Also from a fellow SE PA member... Isaisas was a monster. I'm lucky that our area didn't get hit as hard as others nearby did.

Enjoy the CR-V! It's pretty looking.

Congrats on the sweet pickup. The fuel savings and comfort will be phenomenal. My wife drives a Lexus GX460 and that thing is so comfortable but it eats fuel like crazy. I was going to get her into an RX Hybrid but than COVID hit and she mostly works from home so there's my fuel savings! I lived in Florida, TX and for a short time on the East Coast so I've seen some pretty brutal weather. Here in Sunny CA smokey skies have been our curse for last few months

Dang man this really sucks. Definitely sad to see you go but the CRV is a great daily especially in the EX-L trim + hybrid. Maybe 11th gen or something will be tempting enough to see you back on civicxi or something haha
