With the prices of these cars sky rocketing I decided to sell it for a profit and get something equally fun but more realistic for my family.

I traded my 2020 Si with 4600 miles on it for a 2022 Subaru limited Outback XT.
The dealership gave me 28k for it.

I have a few things I never installed and oem parts I plan throwing up but I hope y’all enjoy your cars and take care!

My mom-in-law has one and it's been a very solid car. They have 150k on it driven through the desert, snow, you name it. Great car. Enjoy.

Both Stock the XT is faster than the Si. Especially with the new WRX and STI platform moving to the 2.4 turbo it will be interesting to see what tuning options open up this platform.

Interesting way to gauge fun.

Enjoy!

Similar story here, couldn't pass up the used car market value and I traded my 2019 Si Coupe for a 2021 Jeep Sahara Wrangler. I still have the Type R and the 370Z roadster with no plans to get rid of those. Dealership gave me $23,600 for my Si. It has a major accident on it (all fixed though) that drove the value down at most dealerships. This one didn't seem to mind (or maybe they didn't see the accident??) and gave me a decent trade value. Looking forward to the Wrangler, but happy I can still get a hot hatch or convertible out when I have the urge. :)

PS - 24,500 miles on the 2019 Si

$28k USD for trade-in? That's unheard of! I think they just upcharged you on the SUV on the other end ?

I doubt that dealer would give you $28k outright if you sold it.

Anyways, enjoy the new ride!

Nope! I used to sell cars back in the day. They sold me the outback at. $2800 discount. My area shows the KBB for the civic at 30-31 price range. LoL there just isn’t any inventory due to the chip shortage.

Holy sh*t, I can't imagine spending over $30k for a used Si!

That is so true! My Honda dealership told me if i want to buy/trade in car this is best moment because they are getting last delivery of cars this week and for next THREE (!) months they won’t have any new cars arriving there, he said if they run out of stock then only service department will be open during that time lol
