Just wondering what the weight of the stock wheels are (if you measure with the tire, we can lookup the tire weight and figure it out)?

I also wanted to confirm what the offset is?

Enkei RPF1 18X8.5 ET40 wheels are about $1144 for a set at tire rack. Michelin PS4S tires are $480 a set cheaper in 245/40-18 than 245/30-20, so after 3 sets of 18 inch tires instead of 20 inch, you more than cover the cost of the wheels. Plus the RPF1 wheels are only 18.2 pounds each and they still have value used, so you are probably well ahead with just one set of tires (save $480, then sell wheels later). The wheels may need a 5 mm spacer to look right though, if the stock offset is less than 40 mm.
I finally replaced my 19” Bremmerkraft wheels with Acura NSX wheels. The NSX wheels are ET +55 instead of the +45s. The Acura wheels are light, forged and pricey but they are really nice. These are the closest to sock wheels that fit a Type R.
