I think they have different safety requirements for windshield washer in Canada. They also get low washer fluid indicators in all Canadian cars.Apparently they go through a lot more washer fluid up in Canada. Their cars hold nearly twice as much (2.6 qt vs 4.8 qt).
Not mandated but greatly appreciated. I go through a gallon a week during crappy spring weather (freezing rain & road grime from other vehicles) and typically buy it by the 4 pack. It sure is nice to be able to drop a full gallon jug into the reservoir.I think they have different safety requirements for windshield washer in Canada. Of all the towns available in Northeastern Ontario, they pick mine to send the snow to. Only less than 1 cm in the forecast so it will be over before it starts!I think we are in the clear now! @Ultrafrozen although I did hear possible snow around Kirkland Lake on CBC radio this morning
Time for the bug wash now lol, I watch the sales at Canadian Tire for it usually goes on sale once a month at least.
Why did we not go through the owners manual first...? OMGI couldn't find how much the windshield washer reservoir holds. I have a booster that I'd like to add and the mix ratio is 1 oz per gallon. I can premix it but it would be just as easy to add directly ... If I only knew what the reservoir held.
I'd have to say, that's a much, much better thing.Apparently they go through a lot more washer fluid up in Canada. Their cars hold nearly twice as much (2.6 qt vs 4.8 qt).
Yeah, our "low washer fluid warning" is when we hit the lever, and only a small amount creeps a quarter of the way up the windshield. That's how we know it's running out. There's no low washer fluid warning on the US version? That's crazy. So is having a 2.6 qt. tank.
