Warning Mirimoto XB Led fog light dont fit 2020 Type R

Learned the hard way. The mirimoto XB fog lights do not fit a civic type R 2020 harness. Atleast the harness that comes with the car. buyer beware. It's too oval shaped it will not make a connection on the stock harness.

Honestly this whole process has been a fucking hassle with the bracket not coming with the light. Had to wait a week and now it wont connect to the harness?

The Type R uses a proprietary connector for the factory LED fog lights. You will need the OEM conversion harness (used on the Honda Access fog lights) or aftermarket. I assume the Morimoto fog light uses the H11 connector.

Yeah this has been known as an issue for awhile. I've been running these with the same harness used for the jdm yellow foglights. It runs around $50 for the harness. Super satisfied with my morimoto foglight and headlight combo. The foglights are nice and bright. And the blacked out look was exactly what I was looking for.

Dang I put the overlays on my stock and ran with that. Wish I would've known this beforehand. Well I dont like the bracket modification anyways.
