What did you find were the differences? Is the piston size different between the two? Do you have any more pics?
Replied in the other thread. Short of it is, you actually want the "base" pump with the Si intake cam. It would displace 30 micro liter more fuel than the "Si" combination, which already displaces 30 microliter more fuel than the "base" combination. In theory, of course (given the internals have no issue keeping up like we saw on the MS3 -- but tolerances on the Honda stuff feels and looks really good).

The Si pump is actually a fully sealed unit and requires cutting/destroying the pump. The base you can actually disassemble and get to the piston on the bench fairly easily.

As for the EX-t VS Si debate. They are both essentially the same car. Just like how a 1989 civic standard is the same as an 1989 Si. Once you start modding just a bit those differences are quickly erased. It just doesn't matter what trim civic you have at the Honda Challenge. In fact the more stripped down the better.
