Hi everyone,

I have a 2016 EX-T and have an issue where just above 2000 RPM and only at this RPM, not any other, there is a vibrating noise coming from my dashboard. I also feel a slight vibration in my steering wheel when this happens. I can also recreate this same issue at idle by revving the engine to the same RPM where the vibration occurs while driving. After getting past about 2200 RPM, the vibration goes away.

The noise does not occur when the revs drop, but only when they go up to 2000. This has been happening for a while but has become very consistent in the last 5000 km. I am currently at 19000 km. I have made a service appointment for it and will be going in tomorrow. I will update further at that time, but have any of you faced this issue? Does anyone have an idea of what it could be?

It could be the A-pillars scraping against the dash, the noise is amplified under the dashboard and it seems it comes from the center. Try to put a business card on each side and see if it works.
