Valve Cover Gasket

This is going to be a dumb question but I’m genuinely curious what kind of Honda bond I’m supposed to use when I put my new valve cover gasket on. I see online that there’s a High Temperature and Semi-Drying. Is there a difference between these or something else I’m supposed to be using for my valve cover gasket?

Honestly it makes little difference. Any high quality silicone gasket maker will work. There is nothing special about this valve cover than any of the other millions of them.

BTW, the only dumb question is an un-asked question. It’s how we all learn.

For a valve cover you can also save money and use permatex ultra grey. Same solution but way cheaper.
