used ktuner question

i bought this used ktuner v.1.2 from this guy he used to have a cvt 2017 hatch i own a 2018 manual hatch the ktuner comes with tsp stage 1 non si intalled on it. i was wondering if it was possible for me to use this tune even tough he had a cvt and i am manual.

I think you should be able to, but send an email to TSP to confirm. AFAIK the tune is registered/attached to the serial number of the ktuner hardware. I have ktuner and hondata both with the TSP tune for the Si and whenever I decide to sell the hondata, that tune will go with it.

The software versions will not match so it can't be used.
