I swear I must be the only person that had no issue with dropping the inlet bolts without special tricks or tools, but had enough trouble locating the socket onto them to make up for it. Those lower bolts took me WAY too much time the first go-around.

being the prl junkie that i am. would that turbo blanket also fit the prl big turbo kit with the 2860gen2 turbo? or should i buy the one off amazon?

basically prl x ptp or just the ptp? they look quite different and the ptp version seems it would fit around the turbo vs just laying on top it.

I would suggest a turbo blanket. For me it helps with intake temps tremendously. Good luck

Xw-40 is so thick....my main concern for the future
This is the viscosity you need when asking turbos to run high boost pressures with high thrust loads. We do not recommend anything under 5W40 or 0W40 for upgraded turbo builds...

I completely get that. What’s been your findings as far as oil flow along with that flow in colder climates?

nah, they didnt have a prl branded one like the ones for the stock turbo. i ended up getting the PTP FPRO35-028-01 blanket that fit well over the 2860gen2. i still have to replace the ewg bracket but the new one they sent is made out of stainless steel which should resolve any future breaking.

the downpipe is cerakoted but im thinkin of having it wrapped but im really unsure at this point.
