Has anyone done this to their car? I’ve been thinking of replacing the halogen bulbs for my low beams , was not happy with the light the stock low beams provide , I’ve been eyeing these at Autozone but I’m not sure if these are worth the $100 , does anyone recommend any good LED headlights ?

I got mine from Amazon for now. Auxito I think is the name. Both lows and highs. They work well. I personally like the output. Cut off could be more sharp but nothing too crazy

easy install.hardest part was sticking my hand for the highs since it was a tight fit and I have some decent sized hands lol

Previous owner / dealership put LEDs in. What brand, not sure. I could look at some point this weekend if I remember to. Not happy with the level of brightness from them either tbh. Low beams are almost unnoticeable, high beams are what I'd expect for low beams to be honest. Autozone likes to charge a hefty premium for stuff, try to price around with Amazon, O'Rileys (they aren't much better), Walmart, etc.

There are regularly rebate or sales on these. You can probably save $30-40. Wait for a sale. They are oem providers and make the best lighting available for any cars. Philips and sylvania have rigorous quality standards.

Hikari eye of megatron.
Hikari is top tier for quality and aiming correctly due to the adjustment.

Although there's a new top end line of ACME-X Hikari HyperStar leds that also don't have the external box you have to figure out somewhere to zip tie. I just upgraded from eye of Megatron to them and they are noticeably brighter.

My morimoto 2stroke 2.0s have similar output to my OEM LEDs on my si. I highly recommend those.

I've had LEDs installed for almost 3 years. They're much brighter than halogen, OEM LED, or aftermarket LED setup. All 9 exterior lights were replaced with the following. I prefer 3k yellow for highs and fogs, and use 10,000 lumen headlights in fog housing. Dont use LEDs branded as fog lights, they're not nearly as bright.

I got theses. They work awesome. I can hear the fans when I shut the car off. According to the the listing, 10,000 rpm fans. So yea.

I run the same low beams that bbeem posted and the katana highbeams as well. They seem to have good output and have a nice cutoff.

I ran the Morimoto 2 Stroke 2.0's for years and they were great. One of the fans started making noise and I contacted TRS and they walked me through the warranty process. Since they no longer produce the 2.0 they sent me 3.0s for free. I recommend buying from them if you are going to get LEDs.
