Any updates on this, My FL5 had two reservoir tanks replaced by dealer already.
Release is scheduled in a few weeks. Not sure if FL5 fitment will be covered in that first batch.

We've now seen/heard the OEM coolant tank is an issue on lots of FL5s so hopefully this will be a good solution for all FL5 owners

It should be the same Reservoir but if you need an FL5 to verify that, You can uses Mine.

How are you checking the hot level with a dipstick? Are you opening the reservoir while it is hot, under pressure? Seems like that is ill-advised.

It looked like the dipstick would be placed into the open port once the top cap is removed, so to guess at the answer to your question, it seems you could not check the level when it is hot.

Is that huge deal for you? I am not sure if this is a track-specific issue, or if people would like to check their oil & coolant when they pull in at a service station while out on the road.

But it seems with some adjustment to your maintenance procedures that you could perhaps check the coolant level before you set off?

Looking forward to seeing this product, and hoping it fits the K20C2 (hint hint) :thumbsup:
