Upgrade from V1.2 to V2 possible?

Dumb question. If I decide to get a V1.2 now is it possible to get the screen at a later time? Or is it a one and done type of deal.

They're completely different units, can't just add a screen to the V1.2

Buy a V2 and sell the V1.2 to offset the cost is really the only option
