Man that looks slick! I’m sure they would sell plenty of those. It definitely got my attention

Lol if you look at the actual spy shots of the car that’s coming it looks nothing like this. People are going to be very disappointed.

It’s not like the FK2 or FK8 concepts of which the final production version looked damn near identical.

Yeah you are right. The concept looks like a chop top compared to the spied version. That changes a lot:nono:

If the Accord's rear end looks half as good as the Type S, there wouldn't be so many sitting idle at dealer lots. Honda can make a good looking car, they're just not willing on the Accord. This one will have ~350 hp with a turbocharged J35? An answer to the 3.3L turbo Stinger at 365 hp.

The 10the gen accord is sweet. Not sure not you mean

Considering Acura already has a DCT in the little Civic thing they make, I'm pretty sure the new Type S would be DCT, too, if no manual is offered. I'll take a DCT any day.

Just reviving an old post. Are people here still considering on the TLX?

I'd probably go towards an IS500 :p But I'd also bet the IS500 doesn't start in the "low 50k" price either...
yeah i think i would lean more towards the is500 too. it has better interior + RWD and that v8 just sounds so good. It's also not a new engine + drivetrain so we know the reliability behind it. Although it would drink gas like nothing lol.
im assuming it would start mid 55k+ and be low to mid 60 with options since its not a real "F" model.

im thinking the tlx will be low 50 and be mid 50 after options.

i still want to drive both before making my decision. Im hoping they wont treat this like honda treated the CTR and allow no test drives. If they do, ill have to wait till someone puts it up on Turo.

What? How is that a even a debate, obviously get the IS500
well they havent officially announced the pricing of either car thats why.
if they wanna price the IS500 starting close to 65k like they are for the RC-F, its gonna be a no for me.

Hopefully not, the IS-F is just around the corner. There's rumors surfacing, so that would probably be in the RC-F/GS-F price territory

Yeah. That’s why I’m thinking mid 50 starting.
I mean it doesn’t have the brembos, vented hood, or the wider fenders ....

Will wait till i can drive both of them and see though. Really curious to see how this V6T will sound.
