I thought a while ago that someone posted they couldn't find part numbers for the flat Phillips head screws that are attaching the metal sheild on the underside of the car. Or that they just werent available, but I got some

with no problem and thought I post the part numbers for anyone who might need them.

I think the shield is nice because it helps with aerodynamics and all that. But, having to take out 10 screws seems like overkill for a simple oil change.

it takes like 30seconds to take them out. only 2 screws needs to thread in while the others are half a twist

Actually what people were talking about were the quarter-twist screws, not those regular screws.

Pretty sure that’s the 1/4 twist “screw”. Here’s another diagram: https://www.hondapartsnow.com/parts-list/2017-honda-civic-5dr-type-r-touring-ka-6mt/under-cover.html. Note #15 is the screw with required qty=2, while #24 is the 1/4 twist pin (same p/n as above) with required qty=6.
That part#19, in the first post says it doesn't fit my car, so that isn't the 1/4 twist screw for the EX-T coupe, but in the second diagram you posted, the part numbers did match what I got for the front two, they are just listed as different numbers in the diagram for my car vs the type R. The twist screws on the type R diagram say they don't fit my ext.

Thank you so much for posting this! I have been two two Honda dealers recently and neither one of them could find this screw for me.

Sure. I don't know why they had such trouble, the new dealer I went to pulled them right up.

It's primarily because of the poor quality of the Honda parts drawing. The drawing of the undertray/engine shield looks nothing like the actual part and so it is unclear which fastener is the correct one.

In addition, neither of the dealers I visited had this part in stock, so they couldn't just pull one out of stock and look at it.

I had that problem when trying to find a bolt that goes into the bracket where the catch can goes. It was a nightmare finding it,lol

Thanks for the leg work on the part number here! Much appreciated!

Just did my first oil change and those screws were heavily corroded on my car. Not sure what the deal is but I'm going to order a few of these.

BTW, there are a couple listing for these bolts on ebay...at prices ranging from $14.46 to $15.89 EACH. LOL!
