Hi guys,

Looking into a downpipe option for my new 1.5 civic sport plus.

Catted - ok for emissions? Still get good gains?

Catless - can modern engines get away without a cat now during emisssions tests?

What brand is people running?

Thanks

You won't get many differences so just in case I got the catted version of PRL. This car is very efficient so there's a slight chance it could pass emissions test with a good tune.

I'll know in a year.

Beware, adding a DP will increase torque a lot down low. That'ts not good for the rods and the clutch will most likely start slipping badly if you run aggressively. Get it custom tuned the moment you add it. If you add it, I'd recommend a new clutch (ACT or Competition) and a Clutch master cyinder upgrade to avoid gear lockout.
