Hey guys, got my hatch a couple weeks ago and have enjoyed every second driving it so far.

2017 Civic Hatchback EX-L, came with splash guards and wheel locks from the dealer.

Wanted to create a thread to track my mods and accessories and share any insights for anyone who's interested.

Here's a pic when I got her the first day. Love the Sonic Gray and the shades in different lighting. Still thinking of a name!

Ordered Husky Liners and interior LEDs right away. Was debating between WeatherTech and Husky and have been pretty happy with these so far. Floorliners between the sedan and hatch are identical - same part number. Here's some pics.

Next up, added some exhaust tips to the rear. Rear bumper looked a little bare with the hidden exhaust.

These were the ones I used. Looks like it's out of stock for now, but I used 4 in the car total. Didn't look to see if the glovebox had a light though.

JDM ASTAR 10pcs Super Bright 194 168 175 2825 W5W 158 161 T10 Wedge High Power 5630 SMD 6000K LED Bulbs, Xenon White(Best Value on the market) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00OH0S5Y2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_bfSJyb8T24079

Be careful with the front LEDs though. Make sure you get ones shorter in length, if not, the switch to control the lights will get stuck with a longer LED bulb.

The ones I linked worked fine. I tried ones from Yorkim before and they were too long.

Those look very similar as well. I think it might be the camera that's overexposing the shot a bit but it isn't crazy bright. Let me see if I can get a more realistic shot. I may upgrade to an small LED board down though.

Nice! Looks like you got the Hatch from Joyce Honda Koons in Manassas, Virginia! That's where I got my sedan too!

Yup and thanks! Great experience and awesome service.

Also an update. Got the hatch tinted a couple days ago. Really happy with the work and outcome. 35% Suntek CXP.

Hi,

Did you install tips on your exhaust? Which ones did you use, if so?

Did a couple things this week with the headlights. Tried out some Philips DiamondVision headlights and was very underwhelmed with the visibility. Driving around in the city was decent but along dark roads was challenging.

Ended up switching them out and doing the H11 to H9 conversion. Stock is ~1300 lumens and the H9s are ~2100. Visibility and brightness is quite impressive but you do lose the bluish white light, which isn't a big deal to me. Highly recommend!

Hey! Looking good. Where did you get the H11 to H9 conversion kit from? Also, are the exhaust tips easily slip on the stock tips or did you need to cut anything off?

Thanks! I didn't buy an actual kit, but I followed this guide I found over in the T4R forums.

http://www.toyota-4runner.org/5th-g...light-bulb-conversion-h11-h9-9005-9011-a.html

Basically, I bought 2x H9 bulbs and used a wire cutter to remove the extra plastic piece needed to fit a H9 bulb into the Civic's H11 socket.

Let me know if you have any other questions! Since then, I have changed to an HID 5000k kit though.

Edited post to include output shots:

This is the 5000k XenonDepot Xtreme HID kit - very impressed with the quality of the kit and materials. Main decision point here was the inclusion of the dual relays to protect the factory wiring.
