Hi all, I’m sure this has been beat to death but I still haven’t found my answer. Im looking to order some Volk TE37 Saga S-plus wheels. Im trying to figure out what offset to order but I don’t know what It will look like. I’ve read +45mm is the smallest you should go but I’ve seen a lot of +38’s. I’m trying to get the wheel at least flush with the outside of the wheel well, I wouldn’t be afraid of a smidge of poke if theirs no rub. I’ll be spending a bit of money in these and dont want to order them wrong. I basically want the stance as wide as possible with no rub with future plans on the lowering springs. Any help would be greatly appreciate.

Best bet is +45 if you plan to lower. I have +38 at stock height, with 255/40 tires, and with a full car I've had it rub slightly on dips.

+45 sits almost perfectly flush and here's how my +38 look from the side,

Thanks a bunch, I appreciate it! That fitment looks sick even though I rubs a bit.

If you want the least chances of rubbing at all go +45. +38 sits almost flush, I think +35 sits a lot better aesthetically. You really dont rub much if at all on +38, only on bumps if lowered.

you didnt mention width so i am assuming you are talking about 9.5" width.

+45 will not be "flush" like you want it if you lower it. it will be sunken in but would give you the least chance of rubbing. That is what i used to run and had zero rubs anywhere.
a +35 is the offset you need to obtain what you want. But it will probably rub.

Also keep in mind, some tires run wider than others, for example a 265 indy 500 runs much narrower than other 200tw 265s which can change if it will rub or not.
How much you plan on lowering, along with amount of camber makes a difference too. There are quite a few variables.

if you do fender mods though, you can run w/e you want lol.

I just want to do the basic 1 inch spring replacement. So what would you recommend in between the +45 and +35 offset that would get me closest to my desired effect without rubbing during spirited driving? I don’t like how the stock rims sit into the wheel well as far as they do. Yes I’m going 9.5 for width.

go +38 which is a happy medium with some 265 tires and youll be fine. Aside from 200aa tires running wide and bulky, the only non 200 ive seen that is a thicc boi is the Michelin Pilot Sport 4s. The set I saw compared to my Yok Advan Apex in the same size was much thicker. Otherwise if you want to play it safe, go 255-35

Thanks so much! This can be quite nerve racking ordering something that costs this much when you can’t see how it looks on the car.

if you have no plans of doing fender work, then yeah just do the 38 and just deal with the possible slight rub you may get on hard dips.

i dont think you'll be happy with the 45 with you wanting it to be "flush". I wasn't.

what type of fender work did you have to do to get your ideal fitment?

the front fenders were shaved and the rears were cut/shaved.
if done right, you cant even tell that any work was done.

this is x10 +41 with -1.8F -2.2R camber and 275/35 RT615K+ lowered on swifts.
x10 +41 fits similar to x9.5 +35

I havent done anything, my fitment is really basic both for my track wheels and my regular wheels. I have camber kits ready to go on though and plan to use them with 275s on these +45 titans nexts season.
