Can anyone confirm the Type R rear sway bar fits the base sedan? If so, would I be wrong to believe the Eibach Type R rear sway bar would also fit the base sedan? Thanks guy! ?

All Civic and Accord rear bars should be interchnageable. I had a CTR bar on my Sport Hatch, swapped it out for a Karcepts and now the CTR bar is on my friend's EX sedan.

Awesome thanks! Maybe one more testimony to this before I go ahead and order the Eibach Type R bar, it's 25mm tubular. Would have to order it and not fit for whatever reason! Lol

What not just go with the solid Type R bar?

I'm assuming the type r bar from dealer is more expensive than aftermarket, Eibach or not. Lol also I'd think an Eibach Type R bar would be an upgrade for the Type R otherwise they wouldn't sell it. So I want the better one! Haha

It was cheap before then dealerships found out about it that’s why they jacked up the price. ?

Maybe check out an aftermarket sway bar designed for the base civics ?
It will be better matched/tailored to the rest of your car I'd assume?

OP... you have to understand that handling is about balance. I wound up buying an Si bar which is only 18mm. Still it's 40% stiffer than the stock bar. For my "better than stock" mod style, it works. Others may find it to be too minor of a difference.

On the other hand going for the biggest rsb doesn't always mean better. In normal driving I'm sure it will feel great with reduced roll and understeer. But you increase the chance of lift off oversteer at the limit especially on a wet road.

Josehern10 if you change your mind, I have a stock CTR RSB I would sell cheaply.

For purely street use I think the CTR bar on the sport was perfect. I only went with the Karcepts for more tunability for autocross but the CTR bar is much easier to live with and makes the car as neutral as anyone needs for normal conditions.
