I know some of you guys have done the swap, but is there any difference in thickness between the two? I know the type r has a little flatter bottom, but it would be worth it for me if the type r feels thicker than the SI stock steering wheel. Thanks!

I did the swap on mine and it does feel a little bit thicker than the stock one, something I truly enjoy.

@Guenille Hey there! I was looking for information on this and searching around Dr. Googling. I can find a LOT of info on swapping the Type R steering wheel out for stock steering wheels on Civic Hatchs and Sedans. But yours was an Si. Everything obviously worked perfectly fine for you. I own a 2017 Honda Civic Si COUPE. I can't find any info on the Coupe.

When I go to various websites to buy the type r wheel it states that it does not fit an Si. I think it's wrong, but I am looking for some confirmation that the Type R wheel I am trying to order is in fact the correct one for my Si Coupe even though the website states that it does not fit. Can you shed any light on this for me please?

Screenshot of it stating that it won't fit my car:

Even if I put my VIN # in it still says as much:

It’s not going to say that it fits because it wasn’t manufactured for the coupe. It’s a type r part. But the steering wheel works on every single trim and model of a 10th gen. If you buy the rear motor mount, again, it’s probably not going to say it’s going to fit. But the motor mount fits all models the same.

What's the difference in diameter from top to bottom between the Si and CTR steering wheels? I'm curious as to how much more clearance there is.
