Did I miss something? How do you remove the air bag? You just pull it off?
There are 2 bolts, 1 on each side of the steering column, that needs to be removed. There should be a video on YouTube.

Did anyone have to get an alignment after getting a new steering wheel? I just installed a buddy club and I have to have the steering wheel turned about maybe 2° to drive straight down the road. If i let go of the wheel then It drives straight. Will an alignment fix this? Because I just got one before I installed the wheel

I don’t think it’s necessary I haven’t done my alignment I’ve had the new steering wheel for about 3 months no issues. You have to keep the steering wheel completely still and centered the whole time you’re tightening it down so perhaps it slightly moved or you just didn’t put it on completely straight.

Pull it off and realign the splines– You are probably off a few from dead center. I have dealt with this a million times.

It's installed centered. If I move it either directions then it's off by 10-15°

versus the very next spline setting would be this far off

Hmmm... well to be fair, I've seen some aftermarket steering wheels (buddy club included) completely misaligned.

It could be the splines inside the aftermarket wheel.

Try popping your stock one back on, if it lines up... its the wheel.

So will an alignment fix that?

You can get an alignment and ask the tech to do a tie rod adjustment. This will straighten the steering wheel. Inform them that the steering whee is off center. Any competent alignment tech should know how to do this adjustment. Done it on all my cars.
