Did you order when they were already backordered? I just ordered mine from a loca dealer here in Ontario but they say it is backordered. Just wondering when it might actually come in.

I ordered mine June 13th and received it the next day.

I ordered Wednesday and had it overnighted to Calgary, and my Purolator shipping label said it was from Montreal so thank you to a very nice tip I received!

With that said, can any if you who had it installed tell me if the wrinkles and creases in the leather near the spokes get smoothed out after you installed it? Because some of those areas by the spokes/controls look like it was crudely cut with scissors by a monkey

Have them check all the dealers, call that one dealer that has it and have it shipped.

Thanks! I ordered mine friday but hopefully I'll get it in a week or two. In regards to the wrinkles, I have them on my touring steering wheel since new and haven't disappeared, so it probably won't smooth out.

Then don't do it because if you don't have the tools, chances are you'll break something that'll cost you more in replacement than the tool itself.

what tools are needed? I figured It'd just be some wrenches, breaker bar, pry tool & screw drivers? Was really hoping I could do it my self. Haven't seen a video yet.

It's not hard. Trick is to lock the wheel and use a 1.5- 2ft long pvc or metal breaker bar. I still have 2 wheels left and may end up popping one on my car.. Reason I suggested pvc is I actually use a pvc breaker bar to break my oil drain plug.
