Can also the Acuity Shifter Rocker Upgrade be useful without the Short Throw Adapter?! :rolleyes1:

My Idea is: Acuity stage 1 + Shifter Roker.. :)

Definitely. You only lose out on the shorter throws. You'll still have the narrower gate spacing and the stronger centering force.

My buddy just got a CTR (someone hit his Si and totalled it), and he let me drive it this week. We both had Si's so we spent the time just talking about the differences the CTR have and how it feels to drive.

After driving I fell in love the Type R shifter. I just love the stock throws and height of the shifter, so much better than the Si obviously. I am considering going Type R shifter with Acuity upgrades because I don't need a full height and throw adjustment, the R is a perfect balance in my mind.

Are weighted shift knobs bad for the car? I always hear we're not supposed to rest our hand on the shifter because [insert reason here], so I assume that with such a light shifter right now that adding relatively more weight to it would be a problem.

Maybe not, though. Maybe that weight thing is just a myth.

The rocker is included in the picture above. Is that the Stage 1 kit?

The picture show what they call the FK8 Stage 2.
I want a FK7 Stage 2 without the Throw Adapter.
So it's a FK7 Stage 1.5 :D

The "FK8 stage 2" kit is fine for the FK7, you just lose the shorter throws that you get from the FK8 shift assembly or with the Acuity short throw adapter. None of the Acuity shifter upgrades are specific to the FK7 or FK8, other than the short throw adapter which won't work with the FK8 shifter.

You can remove whatever you like from the bundles. I opted out of cable bushings

The only item that i do not care is the Throw Adapter.
I know that it need a mod to avoid noise in the "front" gear 1,3 and 5;
and also I do not go in a too "race feeling direction" (i do not want that it become to short).
