I also ordered the type r retro from Eman, was I supposed to get a flywheel pilot bearing with this kit? my kit did not include one. also what bearing do i use because the si uses a slotted bushing where as the type r uses a pilot bearing, and both have different inside diameters.

I didn't get one either. Get the bearing for the model you have. I dont know if the bearings are different between the 1.5T manual models. In my case, I sourced a SI bearing from MAP.

Eman doesn't use a bearing lol. He says its not needed or necessary. This was a message between he and I. Regarding not needing a pilot bearing.@mpir413

Anyway you can hook it up with a part number? Do you know exactly what bearing you put in?

I'm trying to tell you. That you don't need it. I got the shop to installed this on my sport hatchback without pilot bearing. It's just sits in the crank

Lol I tried telling him too. Even showed a conversation with my homie Eman who makes the type r retro saying that it's useless and causes issues.

That's correct part. It's call catch bearing aka Throw Bearing. I replaced mine before installing the clutch. If that's what MPIR413 was talking about the whole time. Yeah you can go to local Honda and buy that . Again, our car don't use Pilot Bearing.
