Hi just wanna ask about clutches, cos i’m planning to upgrade mine, is it better to have the type r retrofit clutch than the fx250 with single mass flywheel? Does the type r retrofit will not encounter any problems since it is a retrofit? Tia

What is needed for retro fit? Any problems run into? Im due for a clutch immediately.
You need to contact @k20z3allmotor for details. You can either provide him with a DMF to modify, or pay a refundable core charge and give him your DMF after it is removed.

The Type R flywheel is about 20 lbs. I think the stock DMF is 30-35.
this is really something I can feel..... and its a major frustration of mine.

Its also the biggest difference I explain to people when they ask me the difference between my 9th gen and my 10th gen

The Type R clutch/flywheel is such a different feel over stock. It drives great. Feels like a true manual car.

Can someone PM me his profile on Facebook? I don't follow any car clubs or anything one there. Also, would a Honda dealer be able to install it?
